About Our Founder
Mr. Chan Kin-Chung

Upon earning his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong, Mr. Chan began his career as an oil exploration engineer in the Middle East, where he worked for seven years. Subsequently, he immigrated to Canada and transitioned into the actuarial profession. In 1995, he attained Fellowship status with both the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
Mr. Chan then returned to Asia, where he has worked in the insurance and consulting industries for over two decades. His roles have encompassed financial and actuarial management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate marketing and sales management, and product development.
In 2015, he founded HealthMutual Group with the objective of facilitating the sustainable development of healthcare insurance while benefiting the insurance community.

- HMG set out to provide value-added services for insurance companies and pioneered Medical Concierge services.
- Partnered with FWD Insurance to launch Hong Kong's first Medical Concierge service.

Expanded its operations into Mainland China by establishing a branch in Qianhai, Shenzhen.

Partnered with China Life (Overseas) to provide Medical Concierge services to their insured clients.

- The Hainan branch officially began operations.
- Entered a partnership with Sun Life Hong Kong to introduce Sun Life eSunPro, a top-tier Medical Concierge service exclusively for Sun Life policyholders.
- Launched its new Hospital Bill Management System, which uses OCR technology to streamline the processing of hospital bills.
